About Us
Finding the perfect location for The Cedars was no easy feat. After months of searching, we finally discovered a hidden gem - a stunning 47-acre lot on The North Mountain in Harbourville Nova Scotia. From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew it was the one for us. With over one kilometer in length, and ample greenery, trees and water features, we were confident that this was the perfect place to build our dream. At the far end of the lot runs a brook, where we are creating a most picturesque picnic area.​

How The Cedars became reality
Charlie, born in Hungary, and Kerri, born in the UK, have always shared a dream of building log homes together. When they discovered the 47-acre lot that would become The Cedars, they knew it was the perfect place to make their dream a reality. Their goal is to create a peaceful retreat where hardworking visitors can relax and recharge. Given that this region of the Annapolis Valley is known as the Apple Capital of Nova Scotia, they decided to name each log home after a different apple. The first log home, located at 954 Hamilton, is called The Honeycrisp, and they plan to continue with other apple names such as Gala, Granny Smith, and Red Delicious for the other cabins.
