Welcome to The Cedars! By booking, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. Please read these Terms carefully before making a reservation.

1. Introduction These Terms apply to all guests, users, and visitors ("Guests," "Users," or "You") of the property and any cottage or cabin on the property known as ‘The Cedars’ ("Host," "We," "Us," or "Our). By making a reservation, you agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Reservation and Payment

Payment: Full payment is required to confirm a booking unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely via [Payment Processor].
Cancellations: Guests can cancel their booking in accordance with the cancellation policy specified at the time of booking. If the Guest cancels, they may be subject to a cancellation fee, as outlined in the policy.

3. Guest Responsibilities

Age Requirement: Guests must be at least 19 years old to book a stay. Guests under the age of 19 must be accompanied by at least one guest over the age of 18.
House Rules: Guests must comply with all house rules as outlined in the listing description or upon arrival. These rules include, but are not limited to, quiet hours, smoking restrictions, and pet policies.
Damage or Loss: Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of property during their stay. You agree to reimburse Us for any costs associated with such damage or loss.
Conduct: Guests must maintain respectful behavior towards the property. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, illegal, or disruptive may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Neighbours: Please be respectful of our neighbours and their enjoyment, by being equally fabulous neighbours.
Fireworks: Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
Cooking: The cooking of seafood should be done outdoors only.
Smoking: Smoking is only permitted outside. Please ensure all cigarette butts are disposed of in the garbage. Evidence of indoor smoking will result in a deep cleaning fee of $250.00 being charged.
Grounds: We have 47 acres, most is untouched woodland. Please ensure all litter is placed in the garbage at the house. Please be reminded that dogs can be off leash, but owners are fully responsible for the safety and well-being of their pets while at The Cedars.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-In Time: The standard check-in time is from 10AM on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged.
Check-Out Time: Check-out time is by 12PM on the day of departure unless a late check-out has been confirmed by the Host.
Early Arrivals/Late Departures: Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

5. Pet Policy

We welcome dogs at The Cedars. Please take a moment on arrival to read the ‘Pet Parenting Guide’ as this contains information you will need.
An extra cleaning fee of $35 per stay will be charged.
We have provided throws and towels for your dogs and ask that you use them to protect the furniture and regular towels.

6. Liability and Insurance

Indemnification: Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Host and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages, including but not limited to personal injury including death, property damage, or theft, arising out of the use of the property.
Insurance: We recommend that Guests secure travel insurance to cover any unexpected circumstances such as cancellations, injuries, or property damage.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal Information: By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of processing your booking, payment and welcoming you to The Cedars. We may collect your name, email address, phone number, payment details, and other information necessary to process your reservation.
Data Sharing: We do not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or for the purposes of processing your booking.

8. Force Majeure: Neither the Host nor the Guest shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations under these Terms due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, or government restrictions.

9. Termination: The Host reserves the right to terminate the Guest's reservation at any time for breach of these Terms or house rules. In such cases, the Guest will not be entitled to any refund.
